The Solexus Junction Box can be attached to the PV solar panel manually or it can be done by using robotic pick-and-place machines. The specially designed 8 pole interface connector can connect the junction box directly to the PV module. This can significantly reduce assembly cycles since silicone curing time is not necessary before the panel enters the next step in production. The various versions of the Solexus Junction box fit into many different module production processes.
We also offer the Solexus Junction box with Ribbon Clip terminals, which facilitate high-speed assembly and eliminate the need for manual intervention. Solexus junction boxes can easily be equipped with cables and connectors from a broad range of types and brands. The 3 diode version with 9,5 Amps current rating also allows for cells with higher efficiency.
The 1104 junction box is very safe. It is made of very high grade plastic material allowing it to withstand brutal forces and can only be opened with a tool. Our patented cable clamp system also ensures a very high cable retention force, exceeding all standards.
